September 1st - The trafficking of Myanmar brides into China is driven by socio-economic instability in Myanmar, compounded by the civil conflicts and lack of humanitarian aid, as well as China’s gender imbalance and societal pressure for marriage. While a unified border control could mitigate the trafficking crisis, it would not address the underlying social issues in both countries that create desperation and demand for trafficked brides.

The following is a research proposal that aims to control for environmental consciousness in the relationship between Green party seats and emissions. After establishing the links between transportation and food access, this paper will recommend areas between the two fields that require further research and explains why they matter in the context of food access.
